Tortilla Flat, a well-established trio from Langenthal, has been playing the same formation since its inception in 1991. Their songs are short and punchy, in a melodious punk rock style. They do not hide the influence of Irish folk music in their compositions. Chris, Ritchie and Lexu do not stand out by their celebrity tunes, but by their music that sometimes sounds like The Dropkick Murphys, The Pogues or Green Day. Original, authentic and marked by Celtic influence, their tracks mix drums, guitar, bass and the breath of bagpipes from "The Independent Pipers". If they are able to push the musical accelerator thoroughly, they can also lift the foot as in their acoustic album "A Trainload Full Of Stout" (2009). It’s well demonstrated during their concerts. Tortilla Flat does not need to scream to be heard!
